The Gleneagles Edit

Harmonizing heritage architecture with a curated life.

Renovating within a heritage building is always a delicate balance of preservation and progress. For The Gleneagles Edit, a sprawling three-bedroom condo, the mandate was clear: modernize the function without erasing the soul.

Our primary structural challenge lay in the kitchen—a space originally defined by a small footprint and complex mechanical obstructions. By resolving these technical constraints, we were able to open the kitchen onto the dining room, creating a fluid connection that feels inevitable rather than forced. We further enhanced the flow by expanding the entries into the main living spaces, allowing light to travel deeper into the home.

The interior design required an equally thoughtful hand. The homeowner possesses a remarkable collection spanning Antiques, Moderne, Midcentury, and Contemporary art and furnishings. Our role was to provide the "connective tissue"—using a carefully calibrated palette of tones and textures to make a 1920s antique and a contemporary canvas feel like they belong in the same room. The result is a home that feels gathered, not just designed.
